A few useful answers

What comes with silent disco hire?

Your selected number of headphones, three transmitters, connecting cables and standard delivery and collection. Bring compatible music devices or add optional tablets.

Do I need a DJ?

No. You can use your own playlists. If you have a DJ, their mixer can connect to a transmitter so they can be your third channel.

Do I need Wi-Fi?

The headphones receive music from the transmitters without Wi-Fi. Download playlists in advance and test them offline. Spotify Premium is needed for Spotify downloads. Streaming music needs an internet connection.

Who gets the local discount?

Residents of Waltham Forest, Wanstead, Woodford and South Woodford receive 10% off weekend packages and add-ons. We arrange local delivery ourselves.

Is my booking confirmed when I submit the form?

No. You’ll see an on-screen acknowledgement and enquiry reference. Availability and pricing are confirmed before a booking is agreed.

What about cancellations, deposits and damage?

See our booking and hire information. Cancellation, deposit, loss, damage and late-return arrangements must be confirmed in writing before you agree a booking.

Music device connections

USB-C adapters are available from us for £5 each and are yours to keep. Please buy Lightning adapters separately using the link below. You need one per music device without a headphone socket, unless you already have a compatible adapter. Our USB-C adapters are £5 each for all customers.

Lightning adapters for older iPhones & iPads

Check Apple devices with Lightning — Belkin compatibility list (opens a new tab)

Open the Compatibility section to find your model. This lists Lightning-compatible devices, not only devices that need an adapter: if yours has a 3.5mm headphone socket, use the supplied lead directly.

If your older Apple phone or tablet has a Lightning port and no headphone socket, please buy your own Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter before your hire. Choose an Apple or MFi-certified audio adapter and check your exact device model. If your device already has a 3.5mm socket, no adapter is needed.

Lightning adapters are not supplied by Quiet Riot. Connect your adapter to the device, then plug the supplied audio lead into its 3.5mm socket. Test it before your party.

Buy a Lightning adapter from Maibo (opens a new tab)

External retailer: check the current price, compatibility and delivery date before ordering.

We’ll confirm compatibility and availability before your booking is agreed. Standard adapters do not provide simultaneous charging.

Delivery address

Where should we deliver your equipment?

Event address

Send your preferred date and we’ll reply from enquiries@quietriotparty.co.uk. An enquiry does not reserve equipment.

The 10% local discount applies to weekend packages and add-ons for residents of the four areas above. Midweek hire uses the same standard prices, with no discounts. We’ll confirm eligibility and delivery details with you. Your details, including delivery and event addresses, are saved for us to review. An email notification is sent through FormSubmit.
